The "French Comedy (Comedie Francaise)" is the most prestigious theatre company in France. It was created in 1680 by the king Louis XIV (the Sun king) after the death of Molière.
In Paris the company plays in various theatres, and the most famous of them is the Richelieu Theatre, near Palais Royal. It is a detail of this one that I wanted to capture here: , the red and golden colours and the lines of the balconies . I did it in hiding mysrelf because it is interdict to photograph in the auditorium..
This day, the actors played for the 1658th time, The Cid, of Pierre Corneille one of the most famous plays of the repertory in France, which was created in 1637...
