Dropping down a ways in the food chain you find this gecko who hangs out in our front yard. I have another more centered shot of him, but thought more of his scales show in this shot, plus there is more to give you a sense of scale here. Hold your thumb and forefinger up. While examining the photo now imagine that gecko in your hand. Quite a little tike isn't he? Always smiling these guys are, but what is with those eyes?
