Kangaroo mother care is a method of care of preterm infants which involves infants being carried, usually by the mother, with skin-to-skin contact.

“Mãe Canguru”, consiste no contato pele a pele entre mãe e filho. O prematuro é despido e colocado junto ao seio materno, em posição vertical. Dessa forma, mantém o corpo aquecido.
