My family and I spent a week in New York to celebrate my birthday. We had a wonderful time, New Yorkers are so helpful and friendly, and the shopping was great value. So I didn't think things could get any better until my birthday. After a trip on the Staten Island very and a lots of shopping around South Street and Pier 17, we had lunch in a Restaurant. It was an overcast day, with light rain and a cool temperature but we soon warmed up, sitting in big arm chairs in front of a cosy fire, while waiting for our table.
