Photo A Butterfly Breeding Ground by Julia Sinnott

My husband and I stopped along Creek Road (as we call it) on Memorial Day and happened upon this butterfly breeding ground. There must have been 20 butterflies there of all color assortments... they hardly kept their wings still - more like a butterfly orgie if you ask me, but nonetheless, I thought worthy of the shot. I tried adjusting the contrasting here because the background seems a bit bright, but I couldn't adjust more without trashing the detail of the black butterflies...

you are right about bright bg, dear julia..
i think if you can choose with magic wand at PS, you can make selective lower contrast and light, too.. and then clon some parts or also make them oof to loose importance.. i made a try.. i did too fast, i know you can make it much better, but it is just to show, what i want to say..
