The legend tells, that many years ago the thieves' gang lived here. Once, the prophet Muhammad appeared in a dream of one of the thieves and warned for the wrath of Allah for their crimes. Having woken up, the robber has repented and has tried to convince his comrades to stop their attacks and robberies. The thieves have pretended that they have changed their ways, but conspired to eliminate the newly changed theif in their midst. At that very moment, when they planned to execute their evil deed, an awful roar shook the cave. Due to a staff thrown from heavens by the Prophet, the arch of a cave has fallen. Only the small site on which the repented robber lay in his sleep, remained of the entire mountain. This rocky rainbow, towers above the mountain ruins, and this is how the cave has received it's name.

Это скорее всего не флажок, а зеленая металлическая табличка. На таких обычно пишут либо пояснения о месте, направлении маршрута, либо предупреждение об опсаности. Например, схода камней со склона, скользкой поверхности и т.д.
