Bulnes is the village most isolated of the Peaks of Europe, therefore it does not have access for road. It is divided in two quarters, the village and the castle, and conserves a warm environment much calm.

Remembering the surroundings in which it is located, funicular of Bulnes it constitutes a balanced solution that solves the access to the town diminishing the impact in the national park, allowing a controlled entrance of visitors. The difficult orography of the zone has been saved with the construction of a tructura tunnel. In the midpoint of the route a zone of crossing of 90 meters in length exists, where the section is high and mighty to make possible the crossing between the ascent wagons and slope
