This is a newly opened `peony` bloom. The evening sun peeked briefly through the clouds and then was gone. Now it is raining again. :)

That`s the most beautiful peony shot I seen, and I have them in my back yard. I like the delicate shades of pink and the contrast between light and dark. Nice work Sandra!

wonderful image.... this particular flower has so many petals,etc.etc....that it, for me, is difficult to capture its` many "facets"...I think that the somewhat over-cast conditions embellishes this post.....she is beautiful...mine are just about ready...raining here also....
