Bird is kind of small + the sky is completely white = emptiness in most of the frame. I understand, however, that in such situation it is quite hard to compose. I guess, that is where quick dslr's with fast telephoto lenses really stand out. A polarizer might have helped here too.

excellent details.. did you try to make it bigger the stork and less bg?.. maybe not easy, i know..
