snow at an ice bridge!

notes:
i'm back! :-) i am seeing little by little all your last posts, my friends!
i was at west of my country.. here an image i had presented before, but at another season.. and i copy again the notes to make you understand what is this!
During snowfalls, it's common that ice's bridges are formed and stay for many time there... this bridge, placed at Mendoza, at los Andes mountains, Argentina, was formed after glaciation's period, and due to deposits brought by constant avalanches, it was being covered along million of years.. the thermal sulphurous waters, which intense, saturated colours can be seen, helped to make it last till our days... a hotel was built to use those beneficial waters, but another avalanche, in the 30's, left only its ruins

perhaps, it was too self-confidently - to intrude in plans of such great architect as the nature,
but severe mountains had restored validity...
impressing scene, silvia!

yes! mountains recovered what belonged to them.. what can be seen at image are the ruins of the thermal baths of that hotel.. when i was there two years ago, it was allowed to cross the bridge and see that inside..
but men, the worst predator in the universe, began taking parts of those oxide rocks as souvenirs.. and those passing over the bridge, began to unbalance all the system. So now, you can only see it from this point, not closer. attached here a view of those rooms, i took at my previous visit. my variant of the photo

This is just classic. Nice angle from which you took the
picture of the ruins and the bridge. A very calm and
reflective image.
