the may-apple is an early wildflower here in Virginia....The one leaf reminds me of an umbrella...and...it`s about the size of a saucer...in order to find the one blossom, you must carefully lift the leaf to find this treasure..The bloom is always drooped...facing the good earth...thus...it is a little difficult to capture...It has a beautiful cream-colored hue.....very soft tones and quite fragrant..
