Ischigualasto, at San Juan province...the soft earth, the red sandy soil, the extremes in temperatures and water and wind erosion created curious and wonderful formations here...
Also, it's the unique place in the world where the three stages of Triassic can be seen ...
The late Triassic deposits of this place contains fossils from over 250 millions of years ago, and among all the dinosaurs' rests found here, the Eoraptor.. the eldest ever found at earth..
I tried to imagine this place so long ago.. how would it be... but i also enjoyed the simple touch of nature as it is now... just feeling the sunset light, adding saturated tones to stones.. making those red ones even more intense..
i was pervaded by beauty!

Reminds me of a combination of Arches NP and Death Valley here in the US. Good combination of red white and blue.(very patriotic at least for the US folks smile )
