This is one of my two cats, Basti. I have named her after an Egyption goddess, Bastet, Lady of the House, chnaging the "i" so that the cat could understand her name better. Actually, she understood it TOO well... Mental note to self and others: be VERY careful about naming cats after egyption Gods and Goddesses ok? She became a bit too much like the Goddess, with her aggressive traits. Here is an example. I was taking this shot, and I'm sure she was thinking: "Right. Shall I pluck his eyes out or scratch him to death? Hmmm... decisions, decisions..." :D
