Thank you for your interest, Luis! Here's some information about the fortress. It was built on an island in front of Helsinki in order to defend the city and it functioned as a navy base as well. The Swedes built it in the 15th century. In 1808 the Russians acquired its possession, and during the Krim war the English and the French bombed down most of it. Later on, the fortress's military importance diminished, and now many of the buildings have been restored and rebuilt. Nowadays there are museums, art galleries and private homes in the island, and it is a very popular tourist attraction and a retreat for the people of Helsinki.

Мне, почему - то очень нравиться!
Графика- прелесть. Окна или ( бойницы) - как два глаза!
Расположение ласкает взгляд!
