Михаил - спасибо за конструктивный комментармй. Хотя мне, честно говоря, профессиональная идиома "скользить по изображению" не очень импонирует, как, впрочем, и множество других идиом. И я стараюсь где можно специально не следовать им. В этой работе, как видно, не получилось.
