During NATO bombing in 1999 Serbian air defence unit shot down this F16. It fell in near by corn field. Local people were delighted and next day they were all dancing on the remains of the aircraft. Naturally, parts that fell off were saved as souvenirs ;-)
One guy placed part of it in front of his home as a reminder…. And wrote the date and time of crash, and name of the village “Nakucani”.
Funny thing is, that, seven years later he added advertisement: “I am selling baby pigs”
Next step was buying one and roasting it ;-)

when i was a student, we also studied aircraft design on fragments F16, but brought down in vietnam...
and nobody offered us even a sandwich грущу

I remember, how we were pleased, when Serbs have lined F16! At us this case showed on all channels. We perceived it as the victory too:)

We were even more happy when army shot down so salled "invisible" aeroplane. And, it all happened accidently подмигиваю
We were celebrating on the streets of Belgrade. And boys who shot it down, ... he, he,... they became very popular and girls were crazy about them.

Thanks, ... every "story" has a bad and funny side.
