After a steep uphill hike, you reach saddleback pass. It has been 3.7 km since the beginning of the hike at Lake Louise. This mountain is Mt. Temple (3543m) and the summit of Fairview mountain is to the right. The glacier you see is Macdonald glacier. We're now at an elevation of 2330m. We still have another 450m to climb before we reach the summit of Fairview mountain.
