Great diagonal composition the landscape afforded you at this high altitude not much there but hanging on an icy slope ! Beautiful scene and I'm glad you have your limits for getting a photo or I wouldn't have ben able to see this !

Believe it or not Billy, after I turned around, which was after the place you were supposed to turn around, a ranger truck was on his way up to get me. Ice and a Georgia boy don't mix.

Sil, you ought to do a search for pictures from hurrican ridge for the internet. I didn't get to go to the top, but it looks like a fantastic place on a clear day. I heard from a ranger at the base that even at the top the day I went the visibility was less than 100 yards.
