Great color saturation, tack sharp and the horizon is thankfully horizontal! The technical part is impeccable. What a wonderful ship this seems to be, probably full of photographic subjects and opportunities. Here you`ve picked an interesting angle. I`ve got no clear opinion about it, though, so I won`t grade it, at least not for the time being.

This is a beautiful shot - I am sorry that I missed it earlier. I feel the sun and the breeze. The wind is kicking up a bit of sea spray that makes me feel like a bird in flight. The sound of splashing waves and crying seagulls. The smell of the swelling ocean. The feel of the wooden hull beneath my feet. It works for me!

Тихо, спокойно, уныло - никак!

I think it is a very bland, quite useless photo. The image is sharp and I guess it is OK from the technical stanpoint but the problem I see with it is that it is also boring as hell. There are far more pictures of much lower technical quality which are still far more interesting in the sense of them being actual art. In this particular case, in my opinion, the author would have been much better off just by buying some professionally done photo album or a few nautical post cards. I don`t grade it as 2, 2+, 3 or 3+ because I think there is a chance that the technical quality and colors were the commodities the photographer was really after, and that I should have judged the photo not as a work of art, but, let`s say, with the same standards used for evaluating medical, forensic or surveillance photography.

Thanks to all of you who commented this photo. This photo obviously speak to those who love the sea, and not to those who don`t have that realationship to it. That`s ok.

For those who don`t understand russian, I translated what Vitalij said: "Silently, quietly, sadly - in any way!"
Vitalij, Don`t you think it is rather childish to give low votes on all my photos the same day I gave you a low score on ONE of your photos, with a very good explanation?
