Lake O'hara, Yoho National Park....We've now been hiking upward for almost 2 hours and the terrain is getting steeper as we make it toward the gap. We are well above tree line and the views just continue to get even more outstanding as we gain elevation. We are now within about 15 minutes of our destination for the first leg of this hike which is Wiwaxy Gap. This leg of our hike showing the starting point and Wiwaxy gap will be seen in the variant. Not much farther now and we'll take a much needed rest at the gap. As one can tell from the blue color of the water, the lake is fed by glacial meltwater.

Here is a picture that I will also show later as it is part of the Alpine circuit hike at Lake O'Hara. The S shows where we started and the WG shows what is our first destination (and from where the next couple of pictures comes from). my variant of the photo

Not sure by what you mean montage. Perhaps you mean color palette? If so, keep in mind that the lake is this blue color due to it being fed by glacial meltdown. Also, keep in mind that you get this deep blue sky at high altitude.
