Time to try something different.

This is a street in the small island on which I live. Most of the houses in the town are built from stone/granite over the last three hundred years or so. But in the last few years, the town has become far more colourful.

In a damp and rain-sodden January, the splashes of colour are enlightening to the eye. The old Breton-style stone faced buildings are maybe not in fashion as of late.

And hey, there's no sea in this picture ! :-)

Rich - We rarely get snow around here. And when it does arrive, it only stays on the ground for no more than a day.

this looks so much like the alleyways in a small fishing village near me, called tenby, with their colourful houses and cobblestone roads, a great capture
