Photo It's wild around here !!! by Cameron Fielding

Taken this afternoon, there is no need to introduce this image, it speaks for itself.

We've had very high westerly winds again in the last 48 hours, gusting to 70mph at times. When I hear wind whistling around the drainpipes outside my house, and the television aerial persistently bashing against the chimney, it's my trigger to put some fresh batteries in the camera and get out there. I wasn't disappointed on this occasion.

i was waiting to see this as you promised
a beautiful capture, showing the sea when she is angry
the contrast between rough water behind the wall and calm in front is very appealing

Excellent exposure! The detail in the water at the bottom and the highlights at the top along with the water curving in one direction against the pier curving in the opposite direction ... wonderful capture.
