Snow in California. Excuse my ignorance, but is this rather unexpected !!

The conifers are a nice tone, and although snow is not my favourite compound (associated chill factor), the whole scene is actually very endearing.

well, not really Cameron, but that's what I used to think too ..!, I'm at about 2800 f.., 10 minutes from the big mountain 14200 f....mt.shasta volcano, so yes, it does snow here at least once a year..
