We've had the bear and the bird, so now it's time for the bison and the bird. This photo was taken in a bison paddock near the town of Waterton in Alberta Canada. Somehow, with the bison's thick skin, I don't think he even notices the birds. A bison can weigh up to 2500 lbs and live for as long as 35 years with the average being 20-25...Scanned negative
