Photo Wild Goose Island by Jim Griffin

Taken at sunset, this is a picture of Wild Goose Island and St. Mary Lake. They are located in one of my favorite national parks in the US known as Glacier National Park located in northwest Montana. Absolutely wonderful for hiking, wildlife viewing, and of course, the great scenery.

Glacier is indeed a wonderful place, I like your sunset view of St Mary Lake and Goose Island. I wish I could remember the full story of Goose Island, other 2 indians from rival tribes swiming out for a late night interlude and being turned into geese. OK enough trivia, nice shot, on a good clear evening.
