I am not sure of the name of these Tulips they seem to have appeared from nowhere.
They are only 6 inches high and close up at dusk.If anyone can help me with the name I would be grateful.

No matter about the name, nature is always beautiful and you captured this Tulips with sensibility!
They are very beautiful with this yellow colours contrasting with greens!

Very nice shot! Brian, it is tulip. There are 140 species of tulips. May be it is Tulipa aitchisonii(A.D.Hall) or Tulipa hafsii (subgenus Leiostemones), but i am not sure...may be Tulipa ferganica...or Tulipa clusiana(DC) (subgenus Eriostemones)
