Still traversing the trail, we've gained a little altitude, but our destination is still a little ways away, and can be seen that we have a lot of altitude to gain to get to the glacier. Grinnell Glacier can be seen in the upper right of the picture with Grinnell lake in the left center. Notice the notch above the glacier as there will be an upcoming photo from that location from a different year. Glacier National Park, Montana. Scanned negative.
