This is a picture of Swiftcurrent Lake in front of the Many Glacier hotel in Glacier National Park Montana. The lazy mans way(which is me) to start the Grinnell glacier Hike is to ride a boat across the lake and then hike from there. It cuts some mileage off the hike, and the first part of the hike from the other trailhead is just through forest. Actually pictured is the first boat of the morning which I just missed...Scanned negative.
