This is 1 of a 100 cast iron figures that stretch for 3kilometers along the beach at Crosby here in the United Kingdom which is on the shores of the River Mersey.The figures were done by the Sculptor Anthony Gorman who Built the Angel of the North and is well known throughout Europe for his work.The figures are all male and are fastened into the river bed,they stretch out into the water for 30 meters or so.they are best viewed at low tide but I thought the gave a sense of atmosphere with the water swirling around them.More to follow in this series.Enjoy My Friends.
