This is a look back at the trail traversed as the journey from Logan Pass to Granite Park Chalet(use that term loosely here :-) ) comes to an end. This is just about to the chalet and one can make out Haystack Butte in the right center of the photo. It's been about a 7.5 mile downhill hike (of course this means you have to go back uphill on the return), although the slope is moderate. This along with the scenery and the wildlife is what makes this one of my all time favorite trails....Scanned negative.
