Photo Chugach Mountains of Anchorage, Alaska by Jim Griffin

This was taken near Anchorage Alaska at about 9 pm. Still plenty of light left. Although I will say it's very tough to get sunrise and sunset pictures.

9pm, wow.. sunset at 10 maybe.. and i imagine sunrise must be sooo early..

Actually, would you believe in July the sunsets are around 2 in the morning and sunrise happens at about 4 in the morning. Even then, it never gets really dark.
