Taken south of Anchorage Alaska, this is a picture of Cook Inlet. An interesting phenomenon takes place at certains times of the day. This large body of water will empty out with the low tide. At high tide, a bore tide will come down the inlet and fill the inlet with water. Very unique in that you can see this inlet with a lot of water and at other times with very little water.
