..... and holds on for a two length win !!

Found this small racetrack in Lanzarote, in the middle of the desert. About 250 spectators, for a four-race card (and a bar also :-)), much to my amazement that it exists at all in this island known as "Land of a hundred volcanoes".

But I love horse racing, no matter where or how it is happening.

My little camera - a 1.5 second shutter lag, fixed lense, fixed ISO 100, fixed aperture 2.8, but amazed I got any shot at all.

So I don´t care if the purists decry this one. It was a milestone for me just to simply get a sporting shot of any kind. Horses travelling left to right straight in front of me at over 30 mph is not easy to time !!
