In the photo panorama opens near the village Vyazhi. In 1943, there occurred the strongest fighting between troops of the Soviet Union and Germany. 12 July 1943 was observed breakthrough German Defense Soviet troops. The outcome of these battles began, many thousands of casualties. According to eyewitnesses River Zoucha was red from the blood in terrible times. But then, victory was on the side of the USSR, it has become one of the steps to Victory in World War II.
