The town of Totma Vologda region for a long time been a major headache for architects. Local churches, narrow at the base, high and coherent, theoretically pass for a "Russian Baroque", but neither case is complicated in that no similar kartushami - they are all against the rules posted on the outside brick walls and decorated with stars, crosses, flowers yes sink.
