Another photo made during June trip – an old (built at 1930!) water tower at the tiny station Gorovastitsa at Bologoe-Polotsk railway. This tower was to refill steam locomotives. There are three floors with a boiler and sophisticated system of rusty pipes and old stairs…
Citizens say that in 60s this railroad was actively used – at the village there were three shops. And what is now? Dismantled rails (only one line is left, but there were at least 5 of them at the station), only two trains a day and citizens are using them to go to the town of Ostachkov for shopping…
That pano is stitched of 71 frames - 17mm f/18 6sec from the tripod with normal ball head + 2 HDR fragments and more than 7 hours of removing parallax.
