When i saw this image, words of mother Teresa came to my mind: "There is more hunger for love and appreciation in the world today, than for bread"

Then i remember some verses about love by a great Egyptian poet .. Salah abdel Sabour..

When my heart pulsed with love , and gave me the consolation
for the days which have no taste , and the ghosts which have no images , and the hope which couldn't be fulfilled
I carried my love to my beloved , approached her heart
And said to her : I came to you with no jewels in my pocket , but I have only my song , my poem
and said to her : love is that thing which makes the man human , a real human

The excellent commentary on the excellent snapshot makes us attentive to the lives of others and to their own desires. Love ennobles and rescues. Thank you for the excellent work Silvia!

Yes, Mother Teresa was correct. There is more hunger in the world
for love and appreciation than for bread. Your picture expresses an
emotion and you caught the thought of the lady at the time you
took the picture.

I read for first time that phrase from mother Teresa thanks to you, through a link you sent to me some time ago..
It touched me more than i can explain..
Even my idea, when possible, is to add Egyptian poetry to the series i made there, i found that her phrase, so deep and true, matched in this image, so i decided to add it, as well.. and share.
Thanks to you, dear Chandru, for letting me know it..

Excellent, beautiful photo. Details and colours are wonderful.

Still, bread comes first... You can skip it while in flames of desire, but there is no place for romance, when hunger is real.

So, let's start love with melancholical dinner... my variant of the photo

A striking image.. A peaceful yet very dramatic scene. The drama of everyday living has become routine, and we forget the real meaning of "give us today our daily bread". This drama accentuated by the read color of the vehicle is real. Let's not forget it. In that sense it is a struggle for Live and for Love.

Exellent work, dear Silvi... And it's just YOU who tells us with all the kindness of the soul: "love is that thing which makes the man human , a real human "... Thank you.
