I think contrast depends from monitor to monitor, I had differnet idea, maybe to make crop (to cut left 1/3). What do u think?

i made a variant with just bit contrast, attached here but you are right.. monitors may vary!..
(I have calibrated mine with adobe gamma)

i tried also what you mention.. 1/3 crop less at left..
sincerely and this is just my humble opinion, i like it the way you posted... because when cropping, i see much of houses and shorter those lines of glasses' frames that lead the eye
i feel it is well balanced your way, the brick and windows with those emptier areas at left.. my variant of the photo
