Very good the contrast between sharpness of the two plans. Great framing. Excellent photograph. My congratulations,Joao Pires

Ok!!!
Try to see the photo in thumbnail format - there are three squares underneath the photo - press the smallest one.
Right - see how detail and sharpness increase? By posting huge in pixel size but small in filesize you are wasting good photos, turning them into a blurry mess!!! It is a pitty...
Also, composition is not good- is this a church or a rock and rail?Where is the point of interest?
Some dirt or film scratches on the left side...
Please note that average is what most people can do easily... some people are not used to "real" comments, just the boring "Nice" and then excellent everywhere! You got good material, and will to learn, for sure... I am no expert - far from it!!! Try to buy some good photography books and do not post your photos just after seing them - wait a day or two and see if they still look great. This is what I do, sometimes a photo looks great and a few days after I take another look at it and it just seems uninteresting to show... a nights sleep helps us to see with objective and critical eyes our own work! I cannot remember how many times I wondered "Why did I liked this photo so much, it is a simple common snapshot!"
Best regards! Keep trying, you will make it or at least enjoy yourself trying!!
All things considered, exposure is ok, but would have used a smaller apperture, like 8, to get everything in focus. And maybe moved in closer and used the 28mm, instead of composing with the zoom...
