Great use of light and polarizer. Wonderful lines, textures and details. I really like the reflection in the water while the view through the doorway is very intriguing. 
I think this version is better
i like much more in B&W
Looks also fine in colour, but now that I saw the B/W first I think that was better. Sorry for that.
Strange, doom-like light adds special interest.
Composition is a little shaky.
Nice wall and fountain, but the sky is too dark. I think you are not right about circular polarized filter. You can adjust its 'power' by rotating it, and as the result get better sky. Yes, I know you will say that then the wall will be overexposed. Yes, you right. This photo was probably made at the middle of the day when the sun light usually too bright. I would probably try to make 2 photos, one with a nice sky, and the other with a nice wall, and later make one out of two.
