Taken with Nikon Coolpix 880. I took this lying on my back while I instructed my family on when to throw a peice of bread. Had to try that a lot of times, and didn`t really know before I came home to my computer if I had something at all.

Well Trine, you and the family certainly put forth effort for this one! Well done. Looks very painterly. smile

beautiful picture, that black in a background is little distructing, maybe they should have throw it the other way. but it does look good. the sky and the birds are super

this is a very nice shot and I like the skies, they have shapes and shadows. It`s good. I wish there were more light shadows in the bottom of the picture though;)

I think that this is experimentation that has worked very well. The floating movement of the birds is echoed in the clouds. But I think that the background is very distracting. IMHO

Sorry, Trine, for me this picture is spoiled by the clash of birds and background in the middle of the picture. I know how hard it is to get the damn things to position themselves nicely for you...I have tried myself! It can be even harder with a digital camera if is a time delay between pressing the trigger and capturing the photo...there is on mine! If your camera resolution has allowed it, you have two shots in this picture which might be much more effective on their own. One is the bird top left, perhaps cropped in vertical format to just include the bird on the ground. The other is the pair of birds bottom right, again cropped vertically. Alternatively, shoot the birds and concentrate on the rocks and clouds...they looked quite interesting that day!!

I absolutely think that as an experiment this is wonderful. When you try so hard to get a shot you feel that you should post something. It isn`t perfect but it is good. The sky superb and the background in general is great.
