The Tui is a native bird of New Zealand with beautiful plumage and a very beautiful song. The Kowhai is also a native tree of New Zealand and when in flower these birds love feeding on the nectar. This photo was taken with a very strong wind blowing with the Tui's beak inside the flower.

Thanks for your very positive comments for a photo taken in very difficult circumstances.Ther is nothing more beautiful to the eye and ear than the sound of a group of these birds singing and feeding in these flowering trees, smile
