It seems that you have more focus on the background than on your subject, the flower. The background is `busy` and leads the eye away. The colors of the flower are nice, but I think taking this later, or earlier in the day, and not in direct sunlight would help this. Keep shooting and getting to know your new camera.

This flower is very impressive, Robin! It`s a pitty, that the focus is on the ground, and not exactly on the flower. But I think, this is a limit of your camera, so it isn`t really your fault.
