It was a Pharaonic temple,altered during the Greco-Roman era then ended into Coptic monastery...Suhag/Upper Egypt.

a gorgeous site... to preserve the feeling of its survival through the centuries, I would`ve maybe liked the people to be out of the frame... but they do, of course, add a human element, that has sustained and destroyed throughout those very centuries... My internal jury is still out on the people vs. no people issue then
