The Islamic year follows the Lunar Calendar and not
the Gregorian. Moon phases are reflected upon
many branches of Islamic culture, Architecture
included. As you see in the image, Mosque Minarets
and Domes are towered with the Crescent. This
image translates this relationship applying double
exposure.

great picture, but I wish the contrast was a bit higher (on the other hand may be it`s OK, it is very difficult to judge a photograph`s quality on the basis of what you are seeing on the computer screen for the quality of the scan could be so much lower than the actual print). Thank you for sharing wonderful photo:)
