tmho this is not an orchid but an abbassyian lily. Never the less, a beautifufl flower, well photographed.

Well if we are going to be pedantic about this wodrous flower Jaak it is an Acidanthera a bulb from Ethiopia ) It does look like an Orchid but whatever you have captured it so beautifully Bonnie . The lighting is fantastic. I have grown and photographed these flowers but NEVER as superbly as this . Hi Bonnie nice to meet old friends again , this site seems much nicer now )
