Andrey do You see something I did not ? I can see portrait of a person who willingly agreed to have his photo taken. Therefore I think this does him justice regardless of his phisical appearance. I did'nt take it by suprise without him knowing about it. He's nothing to hide. The fact that he had lost his eye should not influence the way people see him. IMO that kind of portrait tells something about a character of photographed person. I think people should be more open minded, more sensitive and less stereotypical. I don't understand why version with glasses in your opinion is more just. Do You see different, worse person now ? I don't. You know in real life he does not wear glasses all the time. Thanks for Your comment. Regards.

The person is being looked at everyday for last 70 years (without an eye) and it does not suprise anybody. People just understand. I am not sure if You had seen enough photos in Your career. What about all those crippled war victims that appear on the photos around the world ? Their stories may be different but their looks sometimes much more "controversial" Is that mean that we should turn our heads away ?
