This is another photo that some of you might have seen at photo.sight, but in a larger format and without the terrible frame that spoiled everything :-). I took the picture in mid-December, when it was foggy and cold in the city but sunny and warm in the mountains. The place is called Payerbach, and it`s one of my favorite locations in Austria.

Lovely contrast of the rocks in the foreground against the softness of the fog covered mountains in the background. I love the peaceful, solitary feeling that is conveyed to me.

Очень интересная работа.
На мой взгляд, немножко портит лирическое настроение всей картины передний план. Очень уж он невыразительный, суетливый, мелкий. Для идеального снимка здесь бы нужна мощная глыба на переднем плане или что-то такое, что создаст вход в картину, зацепит и уведет взгляд, подчеркнет глубину пространства. И еще немного смущает некоторый конфликт между двумя почти равновесными по выразительности пятнами: силуэтом сосны справа и яркой точкой слева, куда направляют взгляд диагонали. Обе эти точки претендуют быть доминантой. Впрочем, это выражено не явно. Может я не прав.
