That's correct. Cats are blind for red, they only see blue and green. But the cat's eyes are sensitive for brightness mostly. So, cats see colours with weak saturation...
But I think, that's your comment: Too much saturation?

I know, what you mean. When I did it, I wanted a strong difference between green and red...
You just offered an idea to me... I could build a monochrome image only from green and blue channel. That would probably look like a photo from an old orthochromatic film as they were 100 years ago... Let's see...
