What character in that face. I wish we could see her eyes a little more.

Ageless and ancient at the same time. Perfect lighting and amazing subject.

An image that is lovely and tugs at my heart. Wonderfully done in B&W.

Very good exposition, all detailed and the background is perfect.

Great portrait Nico. I wish I had you to take one of my mother. You sure know what to do. This is so sweet, thank you.

`A portrait is a picture in which there is something wrong with the mouth.`
Attributed to Eugene Speicher

is there anything wrong with the mouth in this one
the question comes from a new-comer to this site tio pepe is my name and a very nice one it is indeed i fancy a lot of things beside photography probably because that`s how i was brought up
i cannot show you any pictures yet but if we do not die because of a bomb -

the face with its lines and light is very good but the hair makes me uneasy
the frame is nice but it does not quite go with the shadow of the picture which is nice in its turn if again used alone
and the frame is very important
my general impression is that you know what to do
